高さ約1,670mm(参考)、幅約1,100mm(参考)の横方向に大きく張り出した造形が特徴の個体です。
根株状の基部から曲線的に立ち上がる部位が連続し、全体として不均一で立体的なシルエットを形成しています。表面は長年の風雨や浸食により削られ、凹凸や空隙が各所に確認できます。内部には空洞を含み、自然環境下で形成された複雑な形状がそのまま残されています。灰白色から濃色へと変化した木肌のコントラストも本個体の特徴です。設置環境に応じて、安定性確保のための補助や固定が必要となる場合がございます。

長年にわたり自然環境の中で風化し、浸食や空洞化を経て形成された造形は、人工的に再現できるものではありません。灰白色へと変化した木肌や、内部を大きく中空化した構造、長年の風雨や浸食によって形成された立体的な輪郭は、長い時間の蓄積によるものです。

近年、大径のチーク古材の流通は限られており、特にこれほどの規模を持つ個体の確保は容易ではありません。本品は一点限り、再入荷の予定はございません。

The gray-toned surface, hollowed structure, and sculpted contours reflect the passage of time. Large-diameter reclaimed teak has become increasingly rare in recent years.
